Surma Sixers Sylhet is a professional regional cricket team based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The team competes in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The franchise began to play in 2012 as one of the six founding clubs of the cricket league. During the first two season of the tournament, the team was known as Sylhet Royals. It also had an ownership change in 2015 and also had a rebranding. The team plays its home matches at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. As of now, it is owned by Sylhet Sports Ltd. in care of Bangladesh’s finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith. The team is currently coached by Zafrul Ehsan.
