HSC Result 2017: Latest Update

HSC result of 2017 has been published this afternoon. A total of 68.91 percent examinee passed this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations across the country. But this year, the pass rate is 5.79 percent poorer than that of the previous year. 37,726 Among them got GPA (Grade Point Average)-5.

Approximately 10:30 am, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gono Bhaban in Dhaka.

Total 66.84 percent students passed this year’s HSC examinations with 33,242 students obtaining GPA-5.

The pass rates in Madrasa are 77.02 percent, while the technical boards secured 77.02 percent pass rates this year.

Soon after, the minister officially declared the results at 1:00 pm at a press briefing, the result has been brought out altogether from the centers, colleges and online at 1:30 pm.

Institution-based result sheet has to be available through entry of EIIN of the particular educational institution.

Students can also collect their HSC 2017 results from the official website of Education Board Bangladesh or via Teletalk service.

In 2016, the combined pass rate in all ten education boards, including madrasa and technical boards, was 74.70 percent. That means last year pass rate was 5.1 percentage points higher than that of the previous year.

The HSC exams of 2017 have kicked off on Sunday. A total of 1.18 million students, including around 500,000 girls, was taken the exams this year. The Higher Secondary School Certificate 2017 (HSC) written examination ended on 2nd June 2017. And the practical subjects of HSC exam of all boards have finished on 18th June 2017.

You can easily get your HSC result mobile massage service. To get HSC Result 2017 in mobile SMS, first, go to mobile message option and type – HSC/Alim, then first three letters of the board name, then roll number 2017 and finally send to 16222.

How to Get HSC Exam Result Example

• For HSC Result 2017- Type HSC CTG XXXXXX 2017 send a to 16222.
• For Alim Result 2017- Type Alim MAD 527869 2017 send to 16222
• For Vocational results- write ‘Tec’ instead of the board’s name. And the rest of the process is same.
• For Technical Result 2017- Type HSC TEC XXXXXX 2017 send to 16222
