Chittagong University Admission Circular 2019-2020 for honors will be available soon. Chittagong University (CU) Admission test for the 2019-2020 session for honors first year will be open soon. The official website of Chittagong University is now available and will be further updated for this purpose. Every ins and outs will be found here regarding the admission process and others. Admission test for different units will be held at different venues and different dates. Results of the admission test will be disclosed the following day of the respective admission test. Educational Calendar: 2019-2020

All the students of honors 1st year BA, B.Ad, BSC, B. pharm, BSS, LLB, BSC Engineering and BBA are requested to apply for admission procedure. Only Teletalk operator is allowed to apply. 475 BDT for each unit needs to be paid.

Requirements: those students who passed SSC in 2016-2017 and HSC in 2018-2019 and belongs all the necessary requirements asked below are eligible to apply for admission.

Science Unit (A Unit): interested students are asked to have minimum GPA 7 point from science and agriculture with the optional subject. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3 Point each.

Arts and Humanism Unit (B Unit): interested students are asked to have minimum GPA 5.75 point to get admission in Bangla, Philosophy, History, English, Islamic History, Culture, and Persian Language and Culture under the sway of this unit. While for the BA Honors in Language and Linguistics under the sway of Modern Language Institute are required to have minimum GPA 5.75 points. SSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.50 while HSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.25 points.

B2 Arabic, Islamic Studied, B3 Art Institute, B4, B5, B6, B8, are asked to have minimum GPA 5.25 points together in SSC and HSC. SSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.50 while HSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.25 points.

B7 Institute of Education Research and Training (IERT) are asked to have minimum GPA 5.75 points together in SSC and HSC to apply in B.Ad. Honors. SSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.75 while HSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.50 points.

Business Administration (C Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC, Diploma in Commerce, Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Business Management. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3 Point each.

Social Science (D Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 6.00 points together in SSC and HSC. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 2.75 Point each.

Law Unit (E Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3.00 Point each.

Biology (F Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC from science/agricultural science. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3.00 Point each.

Engineering (G Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC from science/agricultural science. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3.00 Point each.

Education (H Unit): are asked to have minimum GPA 6.00 points together in SSC and HSC to apply for Physical Education and Sports Science. SSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.50 while HSC should confirm minimum GPA 2.25 points.

Institute of Marine Science and Fisheries (I Unit): students are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC to apply for Marine Science, Oceanography, and Fisheries. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3.00 Point each. All students are required to get passed in biology, math, agricultural science and statistics with minimum C grade.

Institute of Forestry and Environmental Sciences (J Unit): students are asked to have minimum GPA 7.00 points together in SSC and HSC or to have a diploma of 3 years equivalent in forestry to apply for Environmental Science and Forestry. SSC and HSC should be confirmed minimum GPA 3.00 Point each. All students are required to get passed in biology, math, physics, and chemistry with minimum B grade. And math or biology should be taken as the 4th subject.

Got to your mobile message option and type CU and give a space, and type the first three letter educational board of HSC, then type roll number of HSC and year, then again write the first three letter of your educational board of SSC, then type roll number of SSC and year, then write your desired unit keyword, then type keyword of quota (if you have) and send to 16222   

Example: CU<>CHI<>123456<>2019<>CHI<>123456<>2015<>A<>FFQ1

This example is made for a student of Chittagong education board who belongs to freedom fighter quota as well.

If any students want to apply for more than one quotas, he/she needs to put a comma (,) after each keyword.
