KA Units requirement

This unit is for science and technology and biology. Aspirants will have to have total GPA 7.00 with the 4th subject, however individual GPA 3.00 of any exam of Secondary or equivalent and Higher Secondary or equivalent exams in the science section, including the fourth subject.

Migrant Department from KA Unit to other Units Department

Bangla, English, Philosophy, Mass Communication & Journalism, Sociology, Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, Law, Marketing, Management Studies, Accounting & Information Systems & Finance & Banking.

KHA Units requirement

Arts and humanities, social science and law faculties are covered by this unit. Secondary or equivalent and in Higher Secondary or equivalent examination, from the Humanities section applicants, will have to achieve a total GPA of 6.00, including the fourth subject. Individually no examination result is acceptable under GPA 2.50.

Migrant Department from KHA Unit to other Units Department

Marketing, Management Studies, Accounting and Information Systems, Finance and Banking and Mathematics.

GA Units requirement

Secondary or equivalent exam from any education group and in the Higher Secondary or equivalent exam from Business Education section, the total GPA 6.50 will be counted including the fourth subject in two exams, but no examination result is acceptable under the GPA 2.50.

How to Apply for Barisal University Admission?

You have to apply online. No offline application is valid. Official website of Barisal University is www.bu.edu.bd. To apply, follow the instructions described below.

• Click on the ‘Application / Login’ button.
• Provide all information regarding your HSC and SSC along with your personal information.
• Click on the “Continue” button to get the next page
• upload your recent photograph resizing in line with the requirement
• To confirm the application process, the applicant has to send an SMS to 16321 (any mobile operator is accepted).
• The applicant will receive a confirmation code of 7 (seven) letters in the return SMS. (If the SMS is sent successfully).
• Put this confirmation code to the designated place in the page. Click on the ‘confirm’ button.
• Pay admission fee through any of the prescribed bank.

Candidates can download admission test admit cards from the official website of Barisal University from 10.00am on 5th of November. Admit card for Barisal University admission test is mandatory for the admission test. Until 24th of November, the admit card can be downloaded.
